Ryley Walker is one of those guitarists who just seems to be able jam effortlessly with other artists, always with interesting results.
In 2018 at Le Guess Who Festival in Utrecht, Netherlands, he was given the opportunity to choose one other artist on the bill to perform a special one-off collaborative set. Deciding upon Japanese psych heroes, Kikagaku Moyo, the two acts came together to trade riffs and see what would happen. Luckily for us, the full performance has now been compiled together into a thrilling 40 minutes of pure bliss. Think lots of wah, drifting sitar melodies, scuzzy guitars over the flow of an effortless groove. For any jam-band/psych rock fans out there, you should 100% give this a spin.
